Miljø-Teknologi AS wins major order
February/2010

Development and innovation pay off. Miljø-Teknologi, a company specializing in air and gas purification, is to provide odour extraction equipment for Stockholm’s largest sewage treatment plant and one of the world’s biggest fish feed factories. The value of orders received in the first three weeks of 2010 was NOK 10.5 million, equal to last year’s total sales revenue.

Henriksdal ARV
Stockholm’s largest wastewater treatment plant is to be refurbished. Miljø-Teknologi has won a contract worth SEK 3.5 million to provide odour extraction equipment.

Biomar AS
Biomar, one of the world’s leading producers of fish feed, is expanding its plant at Myre in the Vesterålen islands. The contract is worth around NOK 8 million. The system is designed to handle air volumes of up to 166,000 cubic metres (equivalent to filling 250 swimming pools) per hour, a huge figure by Norwegian standards. Miljø-Teknologi has supplied similar systems to the world’s biggest fish feed factory in the past with great success. There are no other companies in Norway developing such large and advanced odour control systems, says Vegard Steinde, the company’s owner and chairman.

Strategic partnership with Purenviro
Bedriftsveien 52 in Skien is a centre of excellence for air and gas purification. Miljø-Teknologi has entered into a strategic partnership with Purenviro www.purenviro.com, a company run by Knut Wiik, Miljø-Teknologi’s former managing director. Purenviro supplies advanced systems for managing air pollution complaints online and provides consulting services to industries with emissions to air.

Miljø-Teknologi and Purenviro aim to build a professional partnership, exploiting the synergy between Purenviro’s systems for managing customer requirements and Miljø-Teknologi’s expertise in developing and supplying market-leading gas and air purification equipment.

Management opportunities
Miljø-Teknologi AS wishes to strengthen its organization and is currently looking for a new managing director and a project manager. For more information please contact Vegard Steinde vegard.steinde@mtgruppen.no, tel. +47 905 76 557.
