Bjarne Paulsrud is the general manager of Aquateam AS, which is an independent consulting and R&D company whose fields include working with environmental technology and technology transfer from the university sector to industry and public sector. He was involved with establishing the company in 1984 with colleges from the Norwegian Institute for Water Research, where he worked for about 10 years as a researcher and research manager, interrupted by a break of 3 years when he worked for the Nordre Oeyeren Municipal Water Management Cooperative.

Bjarne Paulsrud has published several articles in Norwegian and International journals and is a member of various international fora within treatment and management of sludge and organic waste.

Bjarne Paulsrud is 60 years old and has a degree in Construction/Sewage Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim.
